Pick a time for your inspection.
Choose any slot that works for you. You’ll get a confirmation straight away, and the inspector will call the morning of to tell you when he’s on his way.
What the inspector actually does
- Walks the ground firstGutters, downspouts, window screens, the AC condenser fins, fence caps and mailboxes. Soft metals bruise before shingles do, so they tell us whether hail hit this property and how hard.
- Gets on the roofEvery slope that’s safe to walk, photographed individually, plus the ridge, vents, pipe boots and flashing — where storm damage usually turns into a leak first.
- Marks a test square where it mattersA 10x10 section chalked off and impacts counted inside it. That’s the same method most insurance adjusters use, so you’ll know what they’ll be looking at.
- Checks the attic, if you want itOnly if you’re home and it’s accessible. We’re looking for daylight through the decking and any moisture staining on the underside.
- Sends the photo reportBy email within 24 hours, with the findings written out in plain English.
How long it takes
About 30 minutes for a typical single-storey Oklahoma City roof. Closer to 45 for a steep roof, a large one, or a property with a detached garage and outbuildings to cover. We don’t need to move your cars or come inside unless you’ve asked for the attic check.
Do you need to be home?
No. Almost all of it happens outside and on the roof, and plenty of our inspections are done while people are at work.
It’s worth being there if you want the attic looked at, or if you’d rather be walked through the photos in person while the inspector is still on site. If you won’t be home, just leave the side gate unlocked and let us know about any dogs.
You get the report either way
Damage or no damage, the photo report lands in your inbox within 24 hours. It’s yours to keep and yours to use — with your insurer, with us, or with any other contractor you’d rather call. A clean report is a perfectly good outcome, and it’s the one we hand over most often.
If the weather turns
Nobody goes on a wet or iced-over roof — it isn’t safe, and a wet roof photographs badly enough to be worth nothing to a claim. If conditions are bad on the day, we’ll call you to move it rather than send someone up regardless.
